With workshops spanning Australia and beyond, exciting new destinations ahead, and future years already filling, this year has been one of gratitude, growth, and creative connection. Here’s a look back at a truly memorable year - and a glimpse of what’s coming next.
If this adventure taught me anything, it’s that life’s too short not to laugh at yourself — especially when you’re driving on the wrong side of the road, tripping over tree roots, or being recognised by a stranger in the middle of the Canadian wilderness! From the majestic Rockies to the misty temples of Japan, every sunrise, every soggy day, and every rocky “bed” was part of the story.
When traveling, the weather isn’t always ideal, but that doesn’t mean you can’t capture great photos. I’ve heard photographers say, “You can’t shoot in overcast conditions.” My response? “Oh yes, you can!

If the Faroe Islands taught me anything, it is that you shoud never trust the weather forecast or a brand new pair of hiking boots! This spectacular collection of islands welcomed me with gale force winds, mist, low cloud, rain, sunshine and then more rain, oftern within the same ten minutes. One mmoment I was photographing a beautiful waterfall under dramatic clouds but a little colour came through at sunset , and the next I was hanging onto my tripod and hiking poles, trying not to become the newest tourist attraction flying across the North Atlantic.
